Exempts from public records all cybersecurity event information received by the Office of Financial Regulation related to loan originators, mortgage brokers, mortgage lenders, and money services businesses until investigations are completed or become inactive

Makes confidential all customer personal information, computer forensic reports, data security weaknesses, and proprietary business information received during security breach investigations of financial institutions

Protects from disclosure personal financial information, government ID numbers, business plans, and books/records submitted in applications to organize new financial institutions

Exempts personal identifying information (names, addresses, photos, employment history) of proposed officers and directors of new financial institutions who currently work at other financial institutions until the charter is issued

All exemptions are subject to Open Government Sunset Review and will be repealed October 2, 2031, unless reenacted by the Legislature; effective date contingent on passage of HB 381
