Extends the grace period for nonpayment of rent from 3 days to 5 days (excluding Saturday, Sunday, and legal holidays) before a landlord may terminate a rental agreement

Prohibits landlords from imposing any fees or surcharges during the 5-day grace period for paying rent

Makes void and unenforceable any rental agreement provision that requires tenants to pay additional fees for a specified duration because they missed or were late on a rent payment

Amends Florida Statutes sections 83.47, 83.56, and 83.60 to conform related provisions to the new 5-day notice requirement
