Creates the Working People with Disabilities program within the Agency for Health Care Administration to allow individuals with developmental disabilities to maintain Medicaid home and community-based services waiver eligibility while employed

Eligibility requires having a developmental disability, current enrollment in a Medicaid waiver program, being at least 18 years old, and having earned income from employment

Maximum monthly income limit set at 550 percent of the Supplemental Security Income Federal Benefit Rate; asset limits increased to $13,000 for individuals and $24,000 for couples, with IRS-recognized retirement accounts excluded

Department of Children and Families must provide written notice to eligible adults upon initial waiver enrollment and annually thereafter, explaining automatic enrollment, eligibility requirements, and information about special needs trusts

Currently eligible enrollees must receive written notice within 90 days of the act becoming law; takes effect immediately upon becoming law
