Authorizes the Agency for Health Care Administration to pay for community health worker services as an optional Medicaid service, covering health promotion, wellness coaching, cultural mediation, interpretation/translation, health system navigation, patient advocacy, appointment outreach, home visits, and care coordination

Defines "community health worker" as a frontline public health worker who is a trusted member of or has close understanding of the community served, including community health representatives, promotores de salud, and community-based organizations

Adds community health worker services to the list of Medicaid services eligible for fee-for-service reimbursement under section 409.908, Florida Statutes

Requires Medicaid managed care plans to cover community health worker services as a minimum benefit under section 409.973, Florida Statutes

Takes effect July 1, 2026
