Department of Health must collaborate with school districts to develop informational materials on detecting developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder, to be posted on the department's website within 90 days after July 1, 2026

Materials must be distributed to parents/guardians of voluntary prekindergarten, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students by September 30, 2026, and annually thereafter

Required information includes descriptions of developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder, associated signs, screening recommendations, and existing state resources such as the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities and Early Head Start

Early learning coalitions must annually notify parents enrolling children in the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program about the availability of these detection materials
