Expands the definition of "governmental agency" to include clerks of the circuit court, tax collectors, and water management districts operating under Chapter 373 for purposes of public notice requirements

Authorizes counties with populations under 160,000, as well as municipalities, school boards, clerks of circuit court, and tax collectors in those counties, to publish legal notices on publicly accessible websites instead of newspapers if the governing body determines residents have sufficient internet access

Requires legal notices published on websites to be continuously posted for at least 2 weeks when providing notice of government activity status, or from initial publication through the date of the proposed event

Mandates that public bid advertisements on government websites must be accessible to the general public without charge and include a method to accept electronic bids

Effective date: July 1, 2026
