Tax collectors may retain expedited service fees ($5), specialty license plate processing fees ($5), and various identification card fees ($1-$2) that previously went to the Highway Safety Operating Trust Fund

Processing entities may retain driver record fees and license reinstatement service fees ($60) rather than remitting to the department; effective July 1, 2026
