Mandates epilepsy and seizure disorder training for all school district and charter school employees who have regular contact with affected students, including teachers and transportation staff

Training completion is now valid for 5 years, and the Department of Education must identify free online training courses from nonprofit epilepsy organizations

Schools must display a Department of Health-identified poster describing basic seizure response steps, sourced from a national nonprofit organization at no cost
