Exempts respiratory therapists' personal identifying information (except name, licensure status, and licensure number) from public records requirements when obtained from the Respiratory Care Interstate Compact Commission data system

Allows portions of Respiratory Care Interstate Compact Commission meetings to be closed to the public when discussing matters specifically exempted from disclosure by federal or state law

Exempts recordings, minutes, and records generated during closed portions of Commission meetings from public records requirements

Subject to automatic repeal on October 2, 2031, under the Open Government Sunset Review Act unless reenacted by the Legislature

Takes effect contingent on passage of HB 1235 or similar legislation in the same legislative session
