Amends s. 626.7351, F.S. to add a new pathway for obtaining a customer representative license: completion of a Florida high school diploma with the insurance and personal finance course under s. 1003.4207

Creates s. 1003.4207, F.S. requiring the Department of Education, in consultation with the Department of Financial Services, to develop a 0.5 credit insurance and personal finance course by January 1, 2027

Course must be available to school districts beginning with the 2027-2028 school year and include comprehensive analysis of basic property and casualty lines of insurance

Maintains existing qualification pathways including professional designations (AAI, AINS, ACSR, CIC, CISR, etc.) and degrees with minimum 9 credit hours of insurance instruction

Effective date: July 1, 2026
