Applicants meeting federal requirements under 42 C.F.R. § 493.1423 for moderate complexity testing are automatically deemed qualified for Florida licensure as a technician to perform moderate complexity testing

Applicants qualifying under these new federal-alignment provisions must provide proof of qualification, complete background screening, and pay required fees under s. 483.807

Amends Florida Statutes sections 483.815 (application requirements) and 483.823 (personnel qualifications)
