Owners and principal operators of multifamily residential properties lose their presumption against liability if two or more specified crimes have been reported to them within 24 months preceding an incident

Qualifying crimes that trigger the loss of presumption include: murder, robbery, sexual battery, aggravated assault, battery, kidnapping or false imprisonment, and crimes involving a firearm

Amends Florida Statute 768.0706, which governs multifamily residential property safety and security liability protections
