Charitable organizations that accept contributions with written donor-imposed restrictions are prohibited from violating those restrictions, with donors or their legal representatives able to file complaints within 6 years after discovering a breach (after providing 90 days notice to the organization)

Charitable organizations must notify donors within 30 days if they cannot fulfill endowment agreement terms and must offer alternative solutions that closely match the original terms

Courts may order remedies consistent with the charitable purposes in the endowment agreement but cannot order return of donated funds to donors or award damages

State agencies and officials are prohibited from imposing annual filing or reporting requirements on charitable organizations that are more burdensome than those authorized by Florida law (except for state grants, contracts, or fraud investigations)
