High school computer science courses must include instruction on artificial intelligence, and students can earn technology-related industry certifications to satisfy graduation requirements

General education core courses integrating technology must provide instruction on digital literacy, AI tools, robotics, software engineering, computer networks, database systems, and cybersecurity as applicable

State Board of Education must establish three computer science teacher certification coverages: grades K-5, grades 6-12, and comprehensive K-12

Department of Education must present recommended competencies for the K-5 and 6-12 certifications to the State Board by September 1, 2026

Certification examinations for both grade-band coverages must be available for administration by January 1, 2028; effective date July 1, 2026
