Citrus County Hospital Board must wind down its affairs and adopt a dissolution plan by September 30, 2026, including satisfying all obligations and indebtedness

Citrus County Hospital Board is dissolved effective October 1, 2026, repealing chapters 2011-256 and 2014-254, Laws of Florida

All assets and liabilities of the Hospital Board transfer to the Board of County Commissioners of Citrus County on October 1, 2026

Transferred assets must first satisfy all former district liabilities, with remaining assets used according to the dissolution plan

Any irrevocable community trust or foundation previously established under chapter 2014-254 may continue to operate under general law
