Expands the Lee County Tourist Development Council from 9 to 11 members, all appointed by the Board of County Commissioners

Increases elected municipal official seats from 2 to 3, with the first from the most populous municipality, the second from the municipality generating the highest tourist tax revenues in the most recent fiscal year, and the third from another remaining municipality serving a one-year term

Increases tourism industry representative seats from 6 to 7 members, with 3-5 (previously 3-4) required to be owners or operators of motels, hotels, RV parks, or other tourist accommodations subject to the tax

Eliminates the previous rotating membership system where two municipalities alternated seats every 2 years based on tourist tax revenue generation

Changes take effect July 1, 2026, and will not interrupt current member terms except for the two municipal members upon the effective date
