Limits compensation for non-contracted health care providers serving Polk County detention center inmates to 110% of the Medicare allowable rate

Allows up to 125% of the Medicare allowable rate for non-contracted providers that reported a negative operating margin to the Agency for Health Care Administration in the previous year

Caps emergency medical transportation services (including ground and air ambulance) for inmates at 110% of the Medicare allowable rate when providers lack a county contract

Excludes medical services provided at hospitals operated by Polk County from these compensation limits

Takes effect upon becoming law
