Repeals Section 790.401, Florida Statutes, which governs the surrender of firearms pursuant to risk protection orders (commonly known as "red flag" laws)

Removes references to risk protection orders from multiple statutes governing mental health professionals' duty to warn about patient threats, including provisions for psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers

Eliminates law enforcement's ability to petition courts for risk protection orders when individuals under involuntary mental health examination have firearms that were not voluntarily surrendered

Retains existing provisions allowing law enforcement to seize firearms during involuntary examinations when a person poses danger and has made credible threats, with return required within 24 hours after release from treatment
