Removes the authority for parents and county residents to file formal objections to specific instructional materials used in classrooms, school libraries, or reading lists under s. 1006.28(2)(a)2

Eliminates the requirement for district school boards to adopt objection policies, provide objection forms on websites, and hold committee meetings to resolve material objections

Removes the Commissioner of Education's authority to appoint a special magistrate when parents disagree with school board determinations on material objections

Eliminates the annual June 30 reporting requirement for school districts to submit objection data, removed materials, and rationales to the Commissioner of Education

Amends s. 1014.05 to remove procedures for parents to object to instructional materials from the required school district parental rights policy; effective July 1, 2026
