Removes the scheduled October 2, 2026 repeal date for the public meeting exemption that allows the Florida Public Service Commission to conduct closed hearings when discussing proprietary confidential business information

Maintains the existing exemption from public meeting requirements (s. 286.011 and the State Constitution) for portions of PSC hearings involving confidential business information related to telecommunications, electric, water/wastewater, and natural gas utilities

Preserves requirements that all exempt hearing portions must remain on the record, be recorded, and transcribed, with recordings and transcripts remaining confidential unless a court determines non-proprietary information was discussed

Takes effect upon becoming law
