Honors the 17 victims killed and 17 others wounded during the 6-minute attack on February 14, 2018, when a 19-year-old former student opened fire in Building 12 with a semiautomatic rifle

Names all 17 deceased victims, including 14 students ages 14-18 and 3 staff members: teachers Scott Beigel (35), Aaron Feis (37), and athletic director Christopher Hixon (49)

Acknowledges the acts of courage by school community members during the attack, the lasting trauma to survivors, first responders, and families, and the advocacy work by survivors and family members for school safety legislation

Directs that copies of the resolution be made available to surviving family members of those killed in the shooting
