YMCA currently operates nearly 2,600 locations nationwide, serving over 10,000 communities with more than 350,000 volunteers and reaching over 17 million people (11 million adults and 6.5 million children/youth)

1 out of every 18 Florida residents is involved with the YMCA through multiple associations operating across the state

YMCA provides childcare, afterschool programs, swim lessons, camping, youth sports, meal programs, and health/fitness/well-being programs

Resolution acknowledges YMCA's efforts to address social isolation and loneliness by creating spaces that promote achievement, well-being, and community connection
