Designates January 21, 2026, as "Kappa Alpha Psi Day" in Florida to recognize the fraternity's contributions to the state

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was founded January 5, 1911, by 10 men at Indiana University as a public service organization for college men

The fraternity operates programs including Guide Right (educational/occupational guidance for students), Diamonds in the Rough (increasing college attendance among young men of color), and the National Kappa League (serving male students in grades 6-12)

Florida is home to 20 undergraduate chapters and 26 alumni chapters of the fraternity

Coincides with "Kappas at the Capitol Day" when fraternity members from across Florida convened in Tallahassee on January 21, 2026
