Prohibits courts from denying or restricting a parent's custody, visitation rights, or parenting time with a minor child based solely on the parent's status as a qualified medical marijuana patient under Florida law

Eliminates any presumption of neglect or child endangerment based solely on a parent's status as a qualified medical marijuana patient

Applies these protections when courts determine the best interests of the child in custody or dependency proceedings

Amends Section 39.806, Florida Statutes, which governs grounds for termination of parental rights

Takes effect July 1, 2026
