Requires the Department of Health to issue temporary licenses to anesthesiologist assistant applicants who have graduated from an approved program, applied for the certification exam, completed their application, passed a background screening, and have no disqualifying offenses

Temporary licenses are valid for up to 180 days from issuance and are nonrenewable

Temporary licenses automatically expire when the applicant either passes the certification exam and receives a full license, or fails the certification exam

Temporary licensees must practice only under direct supervision of a licensed anesthesiologist who has filed a written protocol with the department

Amends both sections 458.3475 and 459.023, F.S., requiring the Board of Medicine and Board of Osteopathic Medicine to adopt implementing rules for application procedures and supervision requirements
