Expands the definition of "survivors" in Florida's wrongful death statute to include parents of an unborn child, defined as a member of the species Homo sapiens at any stage of development carried in the womb

Allows parents of an unborn child to recover damages for mental pain and suffering in wrongful death actions, similar to existing rights for parents of deceased minor children

Prohibits wrongful death lawsuits from being brought against the mother of the unborn child

Protects medical providers from wrongful death liability when providing lawful medical care that meets the applicable standard of care, including assisted reproductive technologies, with the mother's consent

Excludes recovery of prospective net estate accumulations when the decedent is an unborn child, effective July 1, 2026
