Creates section 381.995, Florida Statutes, requiring the Department of Health to establish a perimenopause and menopause policy workgroup composed of health care providers, women with lived experience, advocates, and other interested parties

Workgroup responsibilities include developing key messages about perimenopause and menopause, setting initiative priorities, and creating coordinated communications strategies targeting women, men, employers, and medical providers

Requires initiatives to be culturally appropriate and representative of diverse communities, with information delivered through trusted messengers including community centers, religious meeting places, and wellness professionals

Mandates the workgroup support communication efforts on the safety and benefits of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and nonhormonal therapies for menopausal women

Department of Health must develop and post on its website resources including scientific information on symptoms and treatment options, health risks of reduced estrogen, and a downloadable checklist for clinician visits
