Requires Florida to provide 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave to career service employees following the birth or adoption of a child

Prohibits the state from requiring employees to use their annual leave or sick leave during the 12-week paid parental leave period

Employees on paid parental leave are entitled to accumulate all benefits granted under paid leave status

Adds "paid parental leave" to the list of leave types the state cannot refuse to grant to career service employees

Takes effect July 1, 2026
