Creates a public records exemption for home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and photographs of sexual assault counselors as defined in Florida law

Applies to sexual assault counselors who support crime victims by providing emotional assistance, resources, and help navigating the legal process

Exemption addresses concerns that counselors' personal information appears in police reports and discovery documents, making them vulnerable to harassment, threats, and retaliation from defendants

Subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and will automatically repeal on October 2, 2031, unless reenacted by the Legislature

Takes effect July 1, 2026, with retroactive application to information held by agencies before, on, or after the effective date
