Requires Florida College System institution and state university employees in administrative or instructional roles to take the same mandatory oath

The oath includes pledges to support the U.S. and Florida constitutions, perform duties in a "professional, independent, objective, and nonpartisan manner," uphold academic integrity and professional ethics, and foster respectful learning environments

Oath takers must commit to promoting critical thinking, civic responsibility, and lifelong learning while serving as positive role models in conduct and character

Effective date is July 1, 2026
