Allows certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) who register for autonomous practice under s. 464.0123 to administer anesthesia without onsite medical direction from a physician, though facilities may still require them to follow an established protocol approved by medical staff

Permits autonomously practicing CRNAs to perform anesthesia-related acts without an established protocol, including determining appropriate anesthesia type, ordering preanesthetic medication, and performing procedures to render patients insensible to pain during surgical, obstetrical, therapeutic, or diagnostic procedures

Adds certified registered nurse anesthetists to the categories of advanced practice registered nurses eligible to engage in autonomous practice, alongside primary care nurses and certified nurse midwives

Maintains the existing requirement that non-autonomous CRNAs must continue to administer anesthesia under onsite medical direction of a licensed physician, dentist, or osteopathic physician
