Counties and eligible municipalities may now expend local housing distribution funds on lot rental assistance for mobile home owners, not to exceed 6 months' rent

Local housing assistance plans must include a mandatory strategy addressing needs of persons displaced due to mobile home park closures, and a strategy for providing program funds to mobile home owners including lot rental assistance

Lot rental assistance for eligible mobile home owners qualifies as an approved home ownership activity under the requirement that 65% of local housing distribution funds be reserved for home ownership

Mobile home owners may receive funds for rehabilitation and emergency repairs under the requirement that 75% of funds be reserved for construction, rehabilitation, or emergency repair of affordable housing

Removes the previous 20% cap on local housing distribution funds that could be used for manufactured housing
