Amends the Watercraft Energy Source Freedom Act (s. 327.75, F.S.) to create an exception to the prohibition on government restrictions of watercraft based on energy source

Allows state agencies, municipalities, and counties to restrict watercraft use or sale based on energy source when the watercraft operates on lakes, reservoirs, drainage ponds, or detention/retention ponds

The exception applies specifically when restrictions are necessary for preservation or protection of such waters from contamination

Effective date: July 1, 2026
