Requires all Florida Highway Patrol officers to wear functioning body cameras while on duty during law enforcement activities, traffic stops, pursuits, arrests, and any interactions that could become subject to investigation or complaint

Directs the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to adopt policies governing body camera use, activation, deactivation, maintenance, and storage, and to provide officer training on proper use

Authorizes the department to contract with third-party vendors for secure cloud-based storage of body camera recordings consistent with state cybersecurity standards

Subjects officers who fail to comply with body camera requirements to disciplinary action and exempts recordings from Chapter 934 wiretapping laws

Appropriates $2 million in nonrecurring funds from the General Revenue Fund for fiscal year 2026-2027 to purchase equipment, provide training, and establish data storage systems
