Prohibits school district employees from using corporal punishment on public school students in Florida, effective July 1, 2026

Removes existing statutory provisions that allowed teachers and principals to administer corporal punishment with parental consent, adult witnesses, and written explanations

Eliminates the requirement for district school boards to review corporal punishment policies every 3 years at public meetings

Amends the code of student conduct requirements to remove references to corporal punishment as a disciplinary procedure

Removes corporal punishment administration from the list of duties that may be assigned to school principals
