Requires the Agency for Health Care Administration to provide Medicaid coverage for validated at-home blood pressure monitors and blood pressure cuffs for recipients diagnosed with hypertension

Covered devices must be listed in the United States Blood Pressure Validated Device Listing developed by the American Medical Association and prescribed by an authorized health care practitioner

Coverage includes the cost of necessary repairs and replacement parts for the monitoring devices

Recipients must participate in follow-up care at least once every 6 months during the first 18 months after receiving their prescription, then at least once every 12 months thereafter, to maintain continued coverage

Rate impacts will be incorporated into Medicaid managed medical assistance and long-term care managed care program rates effective October 1, 2026
