Qualified medical marijuana patients aged 21 and older may cultivate up to six flowering cannabis plants at their residence for personal consumption and noncommercial purposes

Eligible patients may purchase medical marijuana seeds and clones from licensed medical marijuana treatment centers

Patients cultivating cannabis must secure plants to prevent access by unauthorized persons

Personal consumption of home-cultivated cannabis remains subject to existing medical marijuana use and administration limitations under s. 381.986(1)(k)

Sale of patient-cultivated cannabis or cultivation exceeding the six-plant limit is subject to criminal penalties under Chapter 893
