Mandates the division must make a formal finding that another jurisdiction's "basis certificate" is insufficient before denying firefighter certification to an out-of-state applicant

Prohibits firefighter employers from requiring employees to take contaminated personal protective equipment or firefighting gear home

Directs the division to adopt rules establishing best practices for employers regarding contaminated personal protective equipment and firefighting gear

Takes effect July 1, 2026
