Adds a new pathway for surveyors and mappers licensed in other U.S. states or territories to obtain Florida licensure by endorsement if they hold a valid license in good standing and have at least 5 years of experience in responsible charge of surveying and mapping work

Maintains existing endorsement pathways for those with pre-July 1, 1999 licenses and 8 years of experience, or those whose out-of-state licensure criteria were substantially equivalent to Florida's at the time of issuance

Requires all licensure-by-endorsement applicants to pass the Florida law and rules portion of the examination before receiving a license

Authorizes the Board of Professional Surveyors and Mappers to require documentation and independently evaluate disciplinary, regulatory, or competency records to verify an applicant's good standing status

Takes effect July 1, 2026
