Prohibits personal information and email addresses from Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles records from being sold to or shared with third-party companies (marketing firms, debt collectors, insurance companies, data brokers), foreign countries of concern, or foreign principals

Defines "foreign country of concern" and "foreign principal" by reference to section 692.201, Florida Statutes, which relates to foreign ownership restrictions

Imposes a fine not exceeding $2,000 on any person or third-party company that uses or releases information from the Driver and Vehicle Information Database for unauthorized purposes

Applies retroactively to email addresses collected under existing vehicle title, registration, and driver license statutes

May be cited as the "Driver Privacy Act" with an effective date of July 1, 2026
