Authorizes the Agency for Health Care Administration to pay for community health worker services as an optional Medicaid service, including health promotion, wellness coaching, cultural mediation, interpretation, health system navigation, patient advocacy, appointment outreach, home visits, transportation arrangement, and care coordination

Defines "community health worker" as a frontline public health worker who addresses health and social needs and is a trusted member of or has close understanding of the community served, including community health representatives, promotores de salud, and workers of community-based organizations

Adds community health worker services to the list of Medicaid services eligible for fee-for-service reimbursement

Requires Medicaid managed care plans to cover community health worker services as a minimum benefit

Takes effect July 1, 2026, with the agency required to adopt implementing rules and authorized to seek necessary federal approval
