Requires the Department of Management Services to provide coverage for obesity treatment in state group health insurance plans issued on or after January 1, 2027, including intensive behavioral/lifestyle interventions and FDA-approved weight management medications (GLP-1 agonists)

Prohibits coverage criteria for weight management medications from being more restrictive than FDA-approved indications for those medications

Establishes eligibility requirements including: enrollment in state group health insurance, age 18 or older, clinical obesity diagnosis from in-network provider, referral and supervision by licensed provider, and mandatory participation in behavioral/lifestyle intervention programs

Allows obesity treatment services to be delivered in office settings, via telehealth, or in community-based settings to support patient access

Mandates the department submit an annual report by January 15 to the Governor and Legislature detailing participation levels and cost savings for both enrollees and the state
