Prohibits guardians of adult wards from restricting contact with specified persons unless there is good cause to believe the contact poses a risk of significant harm, with restrictions limited to 7 business days for family/preexisting relationships or 60 days for others without court authorization

Requires guardians to provide adult wards at least 14 days' notice before moving them to a more restrictive residential setting, unless the change is authorized by the guardianship plan or court order

Mandates that initial guardianship plans identify persons entitled to receive notice of the incapacitated person's death, disposition of remains, funeral arrangements, and final resting place

Requires initial guardianship plans for incapacitated persons to identify those entitled to notice of medical facility transfers and those entitled to visit the incapacitated person

Takes effect July 1, 2026
