Creates a public records exemption for autopsy reports of infants or children who die suddenly and unexpectedly, and individuals of any age whose death is suspected to be caused by Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS)

Allows surviving parents and adult siblings of the deceased to view and copy the autopsy report

Permits release of autopsy reports to the Department of Health for epidemiological research and tracking, with the Department required to maintain confidentiality

Authorizes release of de-identified information and aggregate data to national research institutions for epidemiological purposes

Subject to Open Government Sunset Review and automatic repeal on October 2, 2031, unless reenacted by the Legislature; effective date contingent on passage of SB 188
