Florida Virtual School must implement AI-monitoring safeguards and proctored assessments

Department of Education must collect metrics on student AI use, teacher-reported academic dishonesty, statewide assessment performance in reading, writing, and math, and Florida Virtual School graduation readiness

Teachers must receive training on AI use, AI detection tools, and strategies for responsible AI implementation

Students in grades 6-12 must receive instruction on digital literacy and ethics of using AI in English Language Arts and technology courses, and district student codes of conduct must include AI policies
