Exempts physical therapists from the requirement to have a practitioner of record review and sign treatment plans when services are provided for health promotion, injury prevention, wellness, or fitness purposes

Maintains the existing exemption for patients who have been examined and diagnosed by a physician licensed in another state for a condition requiring physical therapy

Currently, physical therapists must obtain practitioner review and signature if treatment extends beyond 30 days for conditions not previously assessed by a practitioner of record
