Creates a public records exemption for all information received by the Department of Legal Affairs related to investigations of companion artificial intelligence chatbot violations under section 501.1739, Florida Statutes

Information remains confidential and exempt during active investigations, but the department may disclose it to further official duties, notify the public of potential victims, or share with other governmental entities

After investigations conclude, certain information remains permanently exempt including personal identifying information, computer forensic reports, data security weaknesses, and proprietary business information

Defines "proprietary information" as information owned by the operator, treated as private, not publicly disclosed, and revealing competitive interests that would harm the operator if released

Subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act with automatic repeal on October 2, 2031, unless reenacted by the Legislature
