Prohibits any person acting on behalf of a corporation, partnership, or business regulated by the Georgia Commissioner of Insurance, as well as any officer or director of such entity, from making direct or indirect contributions to a campaign for that office or to any campaign by an incumbent Commissioner of Insurance

Requires the Commissioner of Insurance to disclose to the State Ethics Commission any gift or gratuity exceeding $100.00 in aggregate value within any 24-hour period received by the commissioner or any immediate family member from regulated business entities or their officers, directors, or managers

Disclosures must be filed semiannually — by July 5 for the January 1–June 30 period and by January 5 for the July 1–December 31 period — and must include a description of the gift, its value, the identity of the giver, the associated entity, and the date of receipt

Knowing violation of the campaign contribution prohibition is a felony punishable by 1 to 5 years imprisonment, a fine up to $5,000.00, or both

Insurance agents, insurance agencies, and their employees are explicitly exempted from the contribution prohibition
