Amends Chapter 2 of Title 21 of the Official Code of Georgia to authorize the General Assembly to provide by local Act for the nonpartisan election of county commissioners, adding this office to the existing list of nonpartisan-eligible positions (county judicial offices, local school boards, and consolidated governments)

Removes the word "judicial" from candidate filing provisions so that all county office candidates—not just county judicial office candidates—may file for nonpartisan election ballots with the county superintendent

Sets the nonpartisan candidacy filing window to open no earlier than 9:00 A.M. on the fourth Monday in June (or the last Monday in July in certain cases) and close no later than 12:00 Noon on the following Friday

Nonpartisan elections for county commissioners would be held in conjunction with the November general election without a prior nonpartisan primary, consistent with existing procedures for other nonpartisan offices
