Allows prescribing practitioners to require pharmacists to dispense tamper resistant opioid formulations by writing "TRF necessary" on the prescription or checking a "tamper resistant formulation required" box

Exempts hospital pharmacies from both brand-necessary restrictions and tamper resistant formulation requirements, allowing them to dispense medications according to their established drug formulary policies
